Pacific or Japanese Scallops being grown by a company called the Sea Vision Group based Courtney, BC, Canada. This company, founded and owned by scientist Steve Cross, uses a method of aquaculture called IMTA (Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture) in which several species are grown near each other, each contributing to the other or working to help the ecosystem. The scallops here are grown next to kelp and oysters.
